About this line

Bringing together natural beauty and modern design, Bee Haven will have you buzzing! Come pick a posy of Coneflowers and Clover as you breathe deep the aroma of Yarrow and Lavender. Find a soft spot in the meadow as you watch the bees and butterflies meander from bloom to bloom.

Designer Rachel Rossi created this enchanted meadow on an often overlooked substrate: unbleached quilting cotton. While you enjoy the natural imagery of this line you can feel great about how it was made.

Removing the bleaching process saves tens of thousands of gallons of water! Not only is this fabric better for the earth, it’s better for you, too! This fabric collection is OEKO TEX 100 certified.

Patterns

Bee Haven includes a wide range of hues and scales to work cohesively in any design. I have created these quilts specifically for this collection. All will be shipping to stores in September 2024 along with the collection. Patterns can be ordered directly through me by clicking below. I use the Faire Platform for wholesale orders, if that doesn’t work for you, please contact me and we’ll make it work!

Slaphappy – Free Pattern!

This pattern is so fun that you might just get silly about it! Use long strips and strip piecing to slap a quit together in no time! The large borders give long armers lots of negative space to create something one of a kind – a real art piece!

On the Way to Cape May

Looking for a little texture? The Cape May pattern uses a combination of 2-1/2″ strips, the Bee Haven panel, and flange to create a breathtaking, textured quilt.

Class and Event Ideas

✔️ Strip Poker Night: Get your class going by beginning the event with a few rounds of Quilter’s Strip Poker (see instructions here)! Then use your winnings to begin the strip piecing units in this quilt

Dresdens in Bloom

This appliqué quilt takes a new look at the tried and true Dresden Plate. The whimsy is enhanced by Bias Tape Appliqué and creative interplay with the borders.

Class and Event Ideas

✔️ What do you say to Appliqué?: Host a class exploring two under-used appliqué techniques. Bias Tape appliqué and the

Invisible Machine Stitch are two of my favorite appliqué methods and a match made in heaven!
