Shorthand is a new curved piecing template designed by me! I worked closely with Martelli Enterprises to create a template that is not only beautiful, but easy to use. The black top of the template is a hard durable plastic, able to hold up to all your rotary cuts! The bottom is a suede-like material that sticks to your fabric, making curved piecing simple, and allowing you to twist your fabric without every lifting up your template. Perfect cuts every time!
Every Shorthand™ Template set comes with a FREE download of my Cookie Cutter Quilt pattern! It’s a great way to get started using your template. No need to do anything special to get the free pattern, it comes right to your computer after checkout.

If only all templates were this easy to work with!! Truly, this template is amazing. The hard top is very sturdy and the angle of the curve is just right so that the risk of injury to yourself or the rotary cutter injury is virtually nonexistent. The nonslip/grip side is the “grippiest” of any template I’ve ever used – that thing IS NOT going to move on you! Makes it easy to turn and reposition for cutting and works on multiple layers of fabric. I can see this template getting lots and lots of use.
