Pattern Release | Sashay Christmas Stocking

girl-christmas-stocking-pattern

Growing up, Christmas morning had a certain routine…a slow, relaxed, and perfectly wonderful routine. The morning always started with unpacking our drooping stockings—filled with lots of candy, fun little gifts, and of course; an orange in the toe!

Stockings are one of those things that really represent the Christmas season to me—it wouldn’t be complete without them! Although my family doesn’t have the beautifully knit stockings that we had growing up (hand made by my grandmother), we’ve got some pretty sweet stockings that I whipped up myself from fabric! With our little girl making her arrival right around the holiday season, I wanted to make sure that she had her own stocking, just incase she decides to show up early.

This pattern is an UpCraft Exclusive for the first few days of it’s release! Head on over to Upcraftclub.com to pick up your copy at 25% off!

This pattern is now available in my shop, be sure to pick up your copy today!

Today, I’m releasing a sewing pattern for this amazing and reversible Christmas stocking! You’re going to love it—I promise!

The Sashay Stocking—perfectly prim, proper, and perfect for any lady—from 1 to 99! If you have this pattern in mind for a little (or big) guy, simply swap out the ribbon for piping and choose fabrics that suite him. You’ll see some ruffle-free versions in the images submitted by my pattern testers (just keep scrolling)!

This stocking has all the bells and whistles—or buttons and ribbons, in this case. The fluttering ribbons really give the stocking a sway and movement while it hangs upon your mantle.

Did I mention that this stocking is completely reversible!? That means that this stocking can grow up with your little one, or fit differing color schemes in your home from year to year.
